Developing Skills for Regeneration Practitioners: 'How do we do it?'

A free full day conference for regeneration practitioners and learning providers.

In recent years the number of regeneration practitioners has grown considerably. A range of education providers have responded to meet the skills needs of regeneration practitioners. However, amongst practitioners, there has not always been a strong understanding of the learning opportunities that exist.

This conference aims to bring together regeneration practitioners and learning providers to share knowledge of effective practice and create a dialogue to help providers to design provision that meets the needs of regeneration staff.

A number of significant developments make it particualy timely to come together now to look at these issues including the:

rapid development of foundation Degrees offering flexible and tailored workplace learning emergence of Lifelong Learning Networks, enabling strategic collaboration between universities and collegues present new opportunities for effective progression.

launch of the Academy for Sustainable Communities and the regional centres of excellence offer new levels of support to regeneration practitioners.

creation of the Northern Way offers a further opportunity to bring interest parties.
