RENEW Exemplar Learning Programme 2006: Showcase Learning Events

Three Showcase Learning Events around the region highlighting the thirteen shortlisted entries to the RENEW Exemplar Learning Programme 2006.

The RENEW Exemplar Learning Programme 2006 aims to identify and showcase examples of good practice in regeneration throughout the Northwest.

Over 40 applications were received for the 2006 Programme and the judging panel have shortlisted thirteen projects to present at three Showcase Learning Events around the region. Details of the events are as follows:

17 November 2005 - The Brindley Arts Centre, Runcorn - 9.30am - 3.00pm

1 December 2005 - GHS Cultural Centre, Preston - 9.30am - 3.00pm

9 December 2005 - CUBE, Manchester - 9.30am - 4.00pm

These events will provide an invaluable and honest insight into the challenges of successful regeneration and will benefit everyone wanting to learn from the experiences of others and take part in the transfer of knowledge and skills within the regeneration sector.

The shortlisted projects will present their experience and a panel of independent practitioners will cross-examine the applicants. There will also be an opportunity for members of the audience to question the presenters.

Following the Showcase Learning Events, the panel will choose around five projects from all three events to be recognised with Exemplar status and work with RENEW Northwest during 2006 to disseminate their learning to practitioners, professionals and regeneration leaders across the region.
