Employer Engagement Group

back

The Employers Engagement Group (EEG) is a forum created by Constructing The Future consisting of developers, new build and refurbishment contractors and other industrial representatives to work in partnership to promote work opportunities and company development.

The group provides an active voice for all employers involved in Pennine Lancashire regeneration activities.Through their extensive construction network, the EEG acts as the eyes and ears of the industry and feed back to Constructing The Future.

As a result of the Group’s efforts, a plethora of companies and their employees have successfully completed a variety of bespoke courses and qualifications such asAsbestos Awareness and Abrasive Wheels– courses they normally wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do due to lack of funding and numbers.

The Groupworks with businesses of any size to identify the support they need and pin point the right training, then throughclose links with local training providers, are able to produce bespoke courses tailored to meet business needs.

Group Members are: BAAS Construction (current Chair), Emanuel Whittaker, Bramalls Construction, Craig Hambling, HT Forrest, Lovell's and ROK.
