Regeneration

If you’re interested in regeneration policies and implementation, you’ll find these sections of the site the most relevant and useful:

Under our Development section:

Skills & Training is a dedicated section for our Constructing the Future project. This provides information on how to develop your skills and knowledge, how to develop your company performance in order to engage with Elevate and about best practice in Pennine Lancashire.

Sustainability explains the Elevate approach and requirements, legislation and policy and guidance for best practice.

Procurement describes our approach to buying construction services in conjunction with ourfive Local Authority partners.

Whilst involving the local communities is key to our continuing success, our strategy and approach to Community engagement is described.

For all of our developments we place an emphasis on good design and provide design guidance and support.

Under Events/training you’ll find a list of past and future events with any accompanying information.

Elevate uses a purpose-built ‘Local Intelligence System’ (LIS) to better understand local communities and address local issues. The web-based system provides consistent, detailed and accurate information across the pathfinder area, and makes it easier and quicker to manage and share data. This provides a solid evidence base on which Elevate and its local authority partners can decide future strategy and make key decisions which affect people’s lives. Regeneration professionals who would like to view the system should contact Data Analyst Shaju Ahmed on 01254 304586 or at shaju.ahmed@elevate-eastlancs.co.uk.
